Các cơn đau khớp gối này dù mức độ nhẹ hay nặng thì cũng đều là sự dấu hiệu báo động cho các bệnh về xương khớp mà bạn đang mắc phải. Thông qua bài viết sau đây, cùng Phòng khám An Pháp tìm hiểu về nguyên nhân và cách điều trị về tình trạng đau khớp gối khi di chuyển.
1. Các triệu chứng của tình trạng đau khớp gối
Biểu hiện dễ nhận thấy nhất của chứng đau khớp gối khi di chuyển lên xuống cầu thang đó là: vùng đầu gối trở nên đau nhức, cơn đau có thể tăng lên theo thời gian dài, khớp gối phát ra những tiếng kêu, cứng khớp gối làm cản trở việc di chuyển, một số trường hợp nghiêm trọng hơn còn kèm theo tình trạng bầm tím, tấy đỏ, sưng phù và khớp gối bị biến dạng.
Đối tượng trung niên và người cao tuổi là phổ biến nhiều nhất của tình trạng đau khớp gối. Nhưng hiện nay, căn bệnh này đang có xu hướng trẻ hóa dần. Lý do là vì hiện nay có một bộ phận người trẻ có thói quen sinh hoạt ăn uống không lành mạnh (sử dụng chất kích thích, nhiều chất béo và thiếu canxi), dân công sở ngồi làm việc lâu và ít vận động, đối tượng lao động hoặc chơi thể thao quá sức thì nguy cơ mắc phải các bệnh về xương khớp là càng cao.
2. Tìm hiểu nguyên nhân dẫn đến các cơn đau đầu gối kéo dài khi di chuyển
2.1 Tổn thương dây chằng
Dây chằng khớp gối bao gồm dây chằng chéo trước và sau, dây chằng giữa và dây chằng bên ngoài. Trong đó, dây chằng chéo trước dễ bị giãn hoặc đứt do yếu nhất khiến mâm chày bị lệch ra trước so với xương đùi. Các đối tượng dễ gặp phải chấn thương này nhất đó là các vận động viên bóng đá, bóng rổ, bóng chuyền, võ thuật do phải thường xuyên có sự va chạm hoặc khi thay đổi tư thế quá đột ngột.
2.2 Chấn thương do tai nạn
Khi có một lực mạnh tác động vào khớp khối sẽ dễ gây chấn thương. Lúc này các nhóm cơ xung quanh khớp đang bị căng cứng, dẫn đến triệu chứng đau đầu gối trong mọi hoạt động. Thông thường, các chấn thương không quá nghiêm trọng và sẽ giảm đau dần nếu bạn nghỉ ngơi đúng cách, tránh vận động nhiều. Trường hợp cơn đau không thuyên giảm, bạn cần đi khám ngay để chữa trị kịp thời.
2.3 Tổn thương đến mô sụn hoặc rách sụn chêm
Sụn chêm có tác dụng nên một lớp đệm giúp bảo vệ xương không bị bào mòn và ổn định khớp khi hoạt động. Đây là một bệnh nghiêm trọng, nếu không được chữa trị kịp thời sẽ dẫn đến việc đau nhức xương khớp dữ dội, teo cơ tứ đầu đùi, hư khớp gối và làm tổn thương các bộ phận khác như giãn dây chằng chéo sau, phù tủy xương, lỏng gối, mất khả năng đi lại.
2.4 Các bệnh lý khác về xương khớp
Một số bệnh lý cũng là nguyên nhân tác động đến triệu chứng đau khớp gối khi di chuyển như thoái hóa khớp do thiếu hụt canxi hoặc bị lão hóa, viêm khớp cấp và mãn tính khiến sụn bị bào mòn làm tặng sự ma sát giữa các khớp xương với nhau, viêm bao hoạt dịch và cả bệnh gout xuất hiện khi nồng độ muối urat trong huyết thanh bị tích tụ quá nhiều trong cơ thể.
Ngoài ra, các bệnh lý như khô khớp gối, bệnh Chondromalacia, bệnh tràn dịch khớp gối,… cũng là các nguyên nhân điển hình gây nên tình trạng đau đầu gối khi leo cầu thang.
3. Các phương pháp điều trị và khắc phục căn bệnh đau khớp gối
3.1. Chữa trị các trường hợp nhẹ tại nhà
Trong trường hợp các cơn đau đầu gối ở mức độ nhẹ thì bạn có thể điều trị ngay tại nhà bằng cách:
– Xoa bóp vùng gối nhẹ nhàng, kết hợp sử dụng gel giảm đau để xoa bóp sẽ đạt hiệu quả hơn.
– Chườm nóng từ 2 – 3 lần/ngày để làm giảm cơn đau. Có thể sử dụng lá lốt hoặc ngải cứu rang nóng thay cho nước nóng để giảm tình trạng đau nhức khớp gối- Cử động khớp gối nhẹ nhàng bằng cách đưa cẳng chân vuông góc với đùi, hai tay ôm khớp gối và co duỗi nhẹ nhàng từ 15 – 20 lần.
– Cố định khớp gối để các khớp được ổn định, tránh hoạt động nhiều gây ảnh hưởng và lâu lành.
– Tạo cho bản thân một chế độ ăn uống khoa học, bổ sung dinh dưỡng cho xương khớp bằng những thực phẩm như bông cải xanh, cá béo, các loại hạt chứa canxi, chất xơ và vitamin từ các loại trái cây.
3.2. Sử dụng thuốc giảm đau
Sử dụng thuốc Đông y hoặc Tây y để làm giảm các cơn đau cho bệnh nhân. Tuy nhiên, đây chỉ là phương pháp giảm đau tạm thời và nếu sử dụng trong một thời gian dài sẽ gây ra tác dụng phụ. Vì vậy, để sử dụng một cách an toàn, đúng cách thì phải có sự chỉ định của bác sĩ.
3.3. Phương pháp phẫu thuật
Trường hợp khi các biến chứng để trở nên nghiêm trọng và nguy hiểm, cản trở quá nhiều đến sinh hoạt hằng của bệnh nhân thì bác sĩ sẽ chỉ định phẫu thuật. Trước khi phẫu thuật thì người bệnh sẽ trải qua một loạt các xét nghiệm để bác sĩ xem xét hướng điều trị và lựa chọn khớp gối nhân tạo phù hợp nhất. Mặc dù sau khi thay khớp gối, các cơn đau sẽ giảm đi nhưng đồng nghĩa việc bạn mất đi khả năng vận động mạnh, chơi thể thao hoặc ngồi xổm, ngồi xếp bằng,…
3.4. Phương pháp vật lý trị liệu
Vật lý trị liệu là một phương pháp chữa trị các bệnh về xương khớp rất hiệu quả. Theo đó, phương pháp này có vai trò duy trì, cải thiện và khôi phục chức năng của cơ thể, giúp người bệnh thoát khỏi cơn đau nhanh chóng mà không cần dùng thuốc hay phẫu thuật.
